On 28 April, the day preceding the International Dance Day, an official RÉVÉRENCE Gala will take place at the Krakow Opera.

Therefore, we have invited to Krakow our friends from other ballet teams. The stage of the Krakow Opera will host guest dancers of the Slovak Dance Theatre in Košice, who are already well known to the Krakow audience from the ballet performance “Rachmaninoff. Shchedrin… (The Tragedy of Don José)”. They will present choreography to Gustav Mahler’s “Adagietto”. The soloists of the Gliwice Music Theatre will perform a tango and a part of the choreography from “The Nutcracker”.

The evening will feature also performances of the dancers of the Rozrywka Theatre in Chorzów and the Kielce Dance Theatre, as well as the senior students of the L. Różycki Comprehensive School of Ballet in Bytom. Also the Ballet of the Krakow Opera and the students of the Ballet Studio at the Krakow Opera will add splendour to the gala.
