AUDITION FOR THE BALLET OF THE KRAKOW OPERA

The Krakow Opera invites dancers to audition for its Ballet.

The audition date is as follows: 28 August 2020, 10:00 am, ballet chamber at ul. Św. Tomasza 37 in Krakow. 

Knowledge of classical and contemporary dance techniques is required.

The audition includes participation in a classical dance lesson, as well as a presentation of variations, an etude or any choreography within the classical or contemporary techniques.

We kindly ask all persons interested to send their entry to the Krakow Opera’s address at ul. Lubicz 48, 31-512 Krakow, or to the following email addresses: baletopera@op.pl or sekretariat@opera.krakow.pl 

 

1. A full CV including: date of birth, address, email address, height and weight, information on ballet education (a diploma from a ballet school) and important personal achievements in the profession;

2. A portrait and a stage photo;

3. A video recording of a variation or pas de deux from classical repertoire (You Tube, Vimeo links, etc.) 

 

Please send photographs and recordings taken in the last 12 months.

Only complete entries sent out until 15 August 2020 will be considered. 

The Krakow Opera reserves the right to reach out to selected candidates only. Dancers qualified to participate in auditions will be notified via email.

Depending on the epidemiological situation the date and time of audition may be altered, which will be announced to the selected candidates via email.

The Opera will not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

 

Please include the following clause in the application documents: “I consent to the processing of my personal data included in the job proposal for recruitment purposes, in accordance with the Act of 19 September 2019 on Personal Data Protection (consolidated text, Dz.U. [Journal of Laws] of 2019, item 1781) and future recruitment processes at the Krakow Opera (in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on Personal Data Protection; consolidated text: Dz.U. [Journal of Laws] of 2016, item 922). In the event of the auditioning person’s interest being only in the current audition process, the bold text may be omitted, and the unused CV will be destroyed after the recruitment process is finished.”

“I consent to receive information via electronic mail for recruitment purposes, in accordance with Article 10.2 of the Act of 21 January 2019 Dz.U. [Journal of Laws] of 2019, item 123, consolidated text) on the Provision of Services by Electronic Means.”

We would also like to inform you that:

1.The Krakow Opera in Krakow, with its registered office at ul. Lubicz 48, 31-512 Krakow, is the Data Controller. Data Protection Officer can be reached via mail at the abovementioned address of the Controller and via email at odo@opera.krakow.pl

2.The purpose of personal data processing is recruitment.

3.Legal basis for processing of personal data is your consent to have your personal data processed for the purpose specified above.

4.The collected data will be processed exclusively by the Krakow Opera as well as persons and entities acting for and on behalf of the Krakow Opera ensuring compliance with data protection requirements under applicable provisions of law.

5.The collected data will be stored for a period necessary to fulfil the purpose specified in point 2.

6.You have the right to request access to your personal data, have it rectified, deleted or limit its processing, as well as the right to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. You have the right to withdraw the granted consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

7.You also have the right to lodge a complaint with President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the general Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

8.Providing personal data is voluntary, however refusal to do so shall render participation in recruitment impossible.

9.The provided data will not be subject to profiling.

10.The Data Controller does not intend to transfer your personal data to a third country or an international organization.
