POLONIA MINOR AWARDS FOR ARTISTS AND ENSEMBLE OF THE KRAKOW OPERA
As a way to show gratitude for the years of work for the benefit of enriching the cultural life of the Krakow Province and its residents, Self-Government of the Krakow Province and Krakow Province Assembly granted POLONIA MINOR awards to the artists and ensemble of the Krakow Opera.
The awards ceremony took place after the finale of the concert performance of “Beata” by Stanisław Moniuszko, with which we inaugurated the new season of 2018/2019 on 16 September.
Awards of the Krakow Province, which were handed out by Kazimierz Barczyk, Deputy Chairman of the Krakow Province Assembly, were given to: The Krakow Opera Ensemble, on whose behalf general director Bogusław Nowak received the award, Barbara Kędzierska, stage and costume designer permanently co-working with our theatre, Laco Adamik, the main director of the Krakow Opera, Tomasz Tokarczyk, music director of the Opera as well as Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha and Tomasz Kuk, soloists of the Krakow Opera.
The award for Tomasz Kuk, who on this day was performing in the opera “Nabucco” by G. Verdi on the stage of the Grand Theatre - Polish National Opera in Warsaw, was received by his spouse - Agnieszka Kuk.
